SUPPLY DRIVE

HURRICANE LAURA: SUPPLY DONATIONS

INVITE YOUR CONGREGATION TO DONATE.

Houston Responds is building partnerships with organizations and congregations in the areas worst hit. One of their initial needs we can help meet is basic supplies. Drop-off sites are being organized through our coalitions and their congregations to receive supply donations and get them to the communities in need. When inviting your members to participate, please communicate the following key information:

WHAT SUPPLIES ARE NEEDED

Below is a list of supplies that our contacts in Lake Charles have confirmed will be needed and accepted.

WHERE TO BRING DONATIONS

Your congregation can collect donations at your facility and then have them delivered to one of the drop-off sites or you can direct your members to take donations directly to the drop-off site closest to your community.

The need for supplies will likely continue for several weeks or months. We will continue to coordinate this supply effort until our disaster relief contacts in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana let us know that it is no longer needed.

CAN YOU BE A DROP-OFF SITE?

If your facility can serve as a drop-off site for collecting supply donations from other congregations in your area or if you are already serving as a drop-off site for another organization and would like to be added to our drop-off site list, please COMPLETE THE BRIEF FORM HERE.

Scheduling Delivery to Warehouse

If you are serving as a drop-off site, email us to schedule a time to deliver your collected donations to the warehouse. Should you need assistance in delivering the supplies, our staff will coordinate transportation to pick the supplies up for you. SCHEDULE DELIVERY
