Last September Houston Responds hosted a Flourish Forum on homelessness and housing, keynoted by the Executive Directors of Star of Hope and Open Door Mission. 

These leaders of local shelter and recovery ministries reminded us that, as studies show, what homeless and recovering people need most are relationships - a community of people who care and connect them with the resources they need. As a result, our next Flourish Forum on homelessness is focused on how churches and partners can “adopt” a graduate of a shelter/recovery ministry.
