Houston Flourish Forum

Collaborating to tackle Houston’s most critical needs—so our city can truly flourish.

Houston Responds and National Christian Foundation are hosting a series of conversations bringing church leaders, non-profit leaders, civic leaders, and generous givers together to address the critical areas of brokenness in our city. Each event will highlight a critical area of need and will introduce gifted faith leaders who bring specific knowledge and experiences in these areas to help restore our communities. Contact us about becoming a partner in support of one of these forums

  • March 25th | Forum on Homelessness (Part 2)

Last September Houston Responds hosted a Flourish Forum on homelessness and housing, keynoted by the Executive Directors of Star of Hope and Open Door Mission.

These leaders of local shelter and recovery ministries reminded us that, as studies show, what homeless and recovering people need most are relationships - a community of people who care and connect them with the resources they need. As a result, our next Flourish Forum on homelessness is focused on how churches and partners can “adopt” a graduate of a shelter/recovery ministry.

If you and/or your church are interested in learning more, and potentially piloting this adoption program, we encourage you to attend.

Meet our Hosts

  • Houston Responds unites, empowers, and mobilizes churches to multiply their collective impact on critical needs in their community. We accomplish this by developing local coalitions of churches that collaborate with one another and other community partners and are part of a broader interconnected network of relationships covering all of Greater Houston.
